Booking Terms & Conditions

Deposits: All bookings including trials require a deposit equal to 20% of the booking total to secure the date. Dates will only be held for a maximum of 48 hours after an invoice has been sent prior to receiving payment.  All deposits  are non refundable and non transferable.

Trials: Trial appointments/bookings do not secure services for your desired booking date. To secure your date a deposit must be paid and it is strongly recommended to secure your date prior to your trial to avoid missing out. Trials include 1 look (up to 1.5 hours for makeup & 1.5 hours for hair) with minor changes. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the outcome of your trial it is your responsibility as the client to inform the artist at the time of the booking so appropriate changes can be made within the scheduled booking time. Refunds will not be offered if the client changes their mind after the fact.

Group Bookings: Group bookings must be paid for together to avoid increased administration time. If a member or members of the group cancel, payment must still be made in full for the original agreed booking number regardless if another person takes their place.  If time permits the artist may accept at their own discretion additional people/services at the time of booking with payment made upfront in cash. A schedule will be provided prior to the booking and must be adhered to by the client. It is the responsibility of all booked parties to arrive on time, if client delays result in the booking running over time the artist may have to leave without completing all services to avoid inconveniencing clients for later bookings.

Payments: Final payments are due within 14 days of the booking date. Failure to pay in full 14 days prior to the booking date may result in cancellation of your booking and the deposit will be forfeited. Please allow up to 3 business days for electronic payments to be processed. Final payments are non refundable and non transferable to another date. When booking an appointment 14 days or less away payment upfront in full is required to secure the booking.

Parking: If any onsite hotel/motel/on street parking fees are incurred at the booking this must be paid for by the client. If onsite parking is unavailable the client must inform the artist prior to the booking so arrangements can be made.

Damage/Breakages: The artists kit, brushes and tools are not to be touched or handled in any way by anybody other than the artist to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of their kit. Any breakages/damage to the artists makeup or tools caused by the client or any persons present at the booking must be paid for by the client.

Miscellaneous: It is the responsibility of the client to inform the artist at the time of booking of any known illness or allergy that may affect the artist, the sanitation of their kit or the health of the client or artist including but not limited to: latex allergy, scabies, conjunctivitis, styes, common cold, flu, herpes simplex (cold sores), head lice & eyelash mites.The artist accepts no liability arising from allergic reactions or personal injury arising from the consenting use of the products offered by the artist.

In the event the artist is too ill or unforseen circumstances prevent the artist from attending the secured booking all efforts will be taken to secure a similarly skilled & priced artist to complete the clients booking. If another artist is not available a full refund will be issued.

For health and safety reasons the artist requires a cigarette smoke free environment to work in.  The artist reserves the right to stop work if they believe the client is inebriated or otherwise under the influence both for the artist's and client's safety.

The artist reserves the right to cancel your agreement at any time for any reason (including the day of the event,) and retain the booking total and all expenses, if it is due to clients’ and/or client representative's aggressive, abusive, rude or discriminatory behavior towards any Shannon Jennings Makeup or subcontractors.

By paying a deposit the client acknowledges they have read, understood and agree to the booking terms in full
